For the Love of God- Christmas, Already?

This must be a cruel joke, right? On Sunday I went to the mall to buy a White Sox hat, my small act of defiance against the world in 2016. With the Cubs and Trump love going on, I decided to go old-school Dr. Dre and rebel with a baseball hat. As I walked out, I saw the picture above, and it hit me all wrong.

It's Christmas, already?

Well, no, it's not. It's not even Thanksgiving, personally one of my favorite holidays in the year. Why can't we celebrate Thanksgiving first? Why do we keep creeping up Christmas more and more forward, moving Black Friday into the dinner hour of Thanksgiving? Why do we have to start the Christmas music and sales already? Why can't we just have November, an awesome month that I happen to love? Why, why, why?
